

| EVENT INFORMATION |
A triathlon is an endurance sports event consisting of swimming, cycling and running
over various distances. As a result, proficiency in swimming, cycling, or running
alone is not sufficient to guarantee a triathlon athlete a competitive time. Trained
triathletes have learned to race each stage in a way that preserves their energy
and endurance for subsequent stages. In most modern triathlons, these events are

Wherever possible this will be an inclusive event for those with special needs.
Upon receiving your entry form we will consider any impact your disability has on the event and advise accordingly.

The swim takes place in the Sea off the coast of Bexhill-

Please note: If weather (or any other) conditions do not permit for competitors to enter the Sea on race day, the swim will be replaced by a 2.5Km run along the promenade.
